President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr. Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, on his 50th birthday, praising his role in driving Nigeria’s infrastructure development through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
In a statement released on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President lauded Dr. Ewalefoh’s leadership at the commission, highlighting how his stewardship has strengthened regulatory oversight, promoted transparency in project delivery, and aligned the agency’s efforts with the Renewed Hope Agenda through bold, sustainable reforms.
Recalling the PPP Summit organized by the ICRC in June 2025—which he personally declared open—Tinubu described it as a landmark event that successfully brought government, investors, and development partners together under a unified framework. According to him, the summit restored confidence and gave fresh momentum to PPP-driven growth in the country.
“Under Dr. Ewalefoh’s stewardship, the commission has strengthened regulatory oversight, deepened transparency in project delivery, and aligned its work with the Renewed Hope Agenda through bold and sustainable reforms,” the President said.
Wishing him renewed strength, wisdom, and success, Tinubu encouraged the ICRC boss to sustain efforts towards delivering world-class infrastructure that meets the aspirations of Nigerians.
