Full List of Lagos APC New Executives as Badagry’s Princess Damilola Emerges Assistant Woman Leader

Princess Damilola Sonayon James, a proud daughter of Badagry, has emerged as the Assistant Woman Leader of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress following the ratification of the party’s State Executive Committee.

Party members and community leaders in Badagry have described her appointment as a significant recognition of the area’s growing influence within the state party structure. Many supporters say her new role will further strengthen women mobilisation and grassroots political engagement in Badagry and beyond.

The ratification exercise reaffirmed Pastor Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi as Chairman of the APC in Lagos State, alongside Alhaji Moshood Olanrewaju as Deputy Chairman and Adeola Jokomba as State Secretary.

Other officers confirmed in the new executive include Azizat Adejumoke Mariam as Assistant Secretary, Babajide Aboyade Sunday and Olayinka Olusanya as Vice Chairmen, and Muyideen Abayomi as State Zonal Vice Chairman. Folashade Bakare was ratified as Legal Adviser, with Adebila Adewummi as Assistant Legal Adviser.

Abiola Aigbe will serve as Treasurer, assisted by Olugbenle Sonola, while Banjo Adedoyin and Olaleye Ganiyat Olufunke were confirmed as Financial Secretary and Assistant Financial Secretary respectively. Ayodele Adewale emerged as Organising Secretary, with Sanwo-Olu Adebayo Oladimeji as Assistant Organising Secretary.

Seye Oladejo was affirmed as Publicity Secretary, assisted by Yesiru Karamo. Adeniyi Kehinde takes on the role of Welfare Officer, while Bikuda Adedoyin Tolulope and Wusu Shakiru Ajiyan were confirmed as Auditor and Assistant Auditor.

Shola Eletu was ratified as Woman Leader, with Princess Damilola Sonayon James from Badagry serving as her Assistant. In the youth wing, Seriki Muritala emerged as Youth Leader, supported by Vincent Adukwu as Assistant Youth Leader.

Party stakeholders say the inclusion of a Badagry representative in such a strategic position reflects ongoing efforts to ensure wider representation across divisions in Lagos State, while consolidating unity ahead of future political engagements.
