Olorunda LCDA Chairperson, Mrs. Folashade Ajose Kumayon, has hailed the women of Olorunda, Badagry, and Lagos State for their resilience, dedication, and vital role in community development as the world marks International Women’s Day 2026.
Speaking on this year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” Mrs. Kumayon urged women to continue supporting one another, investing in their communities, and using their strength and wisdom to drive societal progress. She highlighted that from homes to markets, schools, businesses, and public service, women remain the backbone of growth and development.
“The women of Olorunda LCDA and Badagry have consistently demonstrated courage, industry, and compassion. Your commitment to giving your best in every role continues to inspire hope and progress,” she said.
Mrs. Kumayon called on women to keep lifting each other, sharing opportunities, and promoting unity, noting that in giving, communities and individuals ultimately gain. She concluded by wishing all women a Happy International Women’s Day, celebrating their achievements and invaluable contributions.
