Badagry-born businessman and Lagos 2027 governorship aspirant, Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, popularly known as SMA, has extended the campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election beyond Lagos State, making a bold political statement in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

In a move that has drawn attention across political circles, SMA recently unveiled a massive campaign billboard along the ever-busy Ibadan–Ile-Ife Expressway near Wema Bank, a strategic location known for heavy traffic and high public visibility. The billboard boldly promotes President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, reinforcing the administration’s message to commuters and residents alike.

Observers say the decision to push the re-election message outside Lagos is both symbolic and strategic. While SMA is widely regarded as a rising political force in Lagos and a strong contender ahead of the 2027 governorship race, his outreach in Ibadan reflects a broader political outlook that goes beyond state boundaries.

Political analysts note that the Ibadan billboard underscores SMA’s loyalty and genuine support for President Tinubu, portraying him not just as a Lagos-based political figure but as one with growing regional influence across the South-West.

They further describe the initiative as a clear sign of SMA’s commitment to strengthening the president’s appeal while positioning himself as a bridge between grassroots supporters and the wider national political space.

The development also aligns with SMA’s evolving political brand, captured in the slogan “SMA GOLD is ready to move Lagos forward,” a message that continues to gain traction among supporters as the 2027 political season gradually approaches.

With his presence now firmly felt in Ibadan, SMA appears to be carving out a wider political footprint, projecting himself as an active and visible force in President Tinubu’s re-election drive across the South-West and beyond.
