Councillor Hunpatin Seyido Joel, representing Ward F in Badagry Local Government Area, in a strong show of grassroots support for education has distributed free 2026 UTME forms to young people across his ward.
The presentation, which took place at the council secretariat, drew grateful beneficiaries who described the initiative as timely and life changing, especially for families struggling with the rising cost of education.
Speaking during the distribution, Councilor Hunpatin said the gesture was part of his continuous effort to support indigent students and give every child a fair chance to pursue higher education.
He stressed that education remains the most powerful tool of empowerment any leader can offer the people, noting that investing in the future of the youths is investing in the long term development of the community.
“This is my little way of supporting our children and easing the burden on their parents. Education opens doors, and I am committed to ensuring that no willing student is left behind because of financial challenges,” he said.
The councillor added that similar interventions would continue as long as resources permit, reaffirming his dedication to the welfare and progress of his constituents.
The UTME forms are required for admission into tertiary institutions across Nigeria and are issued by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
Residents of Ward F have since commended Hon. Hunpatin for his people focused leadership, describing the initiative as a clear reflection of purposeful representation and genuine concern for youth development in Badagry.
