Residents of Olorunda Local Council Development Area were on Saturday, 14th February 2026, treated to a heartfelt Valentine message of love, unity and hope as Mrs Folashade Ajose Peter Kumayon, wife of the Executive Chairman, Ajose Peter Kumayon, called on the people to embrace peace and collective support for the growth of their community.
In her goodwill message to residents of Olorunda Local Council Development Area and the wider people of Lagos State, Mrs Kumayon described Valentine as a season that should inspire compassion, togetherness and renewed commitment to one another.
She urged families, neighbours and community members to see love not just as words, but as daily actions that uplift others and strengthen communal bonds.
According to her, peace and cooperation remain the foundation for meaningful development, stressing that when people work together in harmony, progress becomes easier and more sustainable.
Mrs Kumayon also used the opportunity to appeal to youths, women, traditional leaders and other stakeholders to continue supporting the administration of her husband, noting that his leadership remains focused on people centred projects and improving the wellbeing of residents across the LCDA.
She expressed confidence that a united Olorunda driven by love, mutual respect and understanding would continue to witness steady growth and peaceful coexistence.
The chairman’s wife concluded by wishing residents a joyful Valentine celebration filled with kindness, hope and renewed dedication to the development of the community.
