“This incident is painful and totally avoidable,” the Chairman said with a heavy heart. “No one deserves to be harmed by those entrusted with their safety. As a government, we will not rest until justice is done. The safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every resident of Badagry West remain our top priority.”

Hon. RIKAY revealed that his office has already reached out to the leadership of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Seme Command, and that a formal meeting has been scheduled to address the issue and prevent such incidents from happening again.

The Chairman was accompanied by key members of his administration, including his Chief of Staff, Sovi Gusanu; Deputy Chief of Staff, Zinsu Emmanuel (Aka Pele); Council Manager, Engr. Akande Lawrence; and Council Treasurer, Mr. Assuni Kamarudeen.
