The Lagos State Government (LASG) has alerted residents of Ajah to potential security threats following intelligence reports of attempts by certain individuals to disrupt peace and order in the area.
In a statement, the State Government emphasized that it is fully aware of the situation in Ajah and remains committed to resolving issues peacefully and fairly. Residents, stakeholders, and the general public are urged to avoid any actions that could escalate tensions or disturb public order.
Security agencies have been instructed to remain vigilant, prevent breaches of the law, and conduct thorough investigations to identify, arrest, and prosecute anyone found responsible, in line with Lagos State and Federal laws.
The State Government, under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring peace, security, and stability across all communities in Lagos.
The notice was signed by Mr. Bolaji Kayode Robert, Honourable Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Rural Development.
