Worry has gripped the Badagry community as another case of a missing person has been reported, barely months after the disappearance of local welder, Jamiu Ishola.
This time, the family of Doheto Michael, a recent graduate of Lagos State University (LASU), has raised the alarm after he failed to return home on Tuesday.
According to his mother, Michael stepped out after receiving a phone call that morning, informing her he was going out. His elder sister also told CityMood that he left home shortly before 7 a.m. but has not been seen since.
The family’s concern deepened when the pupils he normally tutors showed up at the house later in the day, only to learn he had not come back. Repeated calls to his phone initially went unanswered before it was eventually switched off, leaving the family in panic.

The Doheto family is now appealing to members of the public with any information on Michael’s whereabouts to urgently contact the nearest police station.
This incident comes on the heels of the still unresolved case of Jamiu Ishola, a welder who went missing a few months ago in Mowo, Badagry. Ishola was reportedly lured by a client named Ifagbenga to a construction site in the Topo area. His motorcycle and phone were later discovered at an uncompleted building under Ifagbenga’s supervision.
Although a witness alleged foul play, accusing Ifagbenga of being involved in Jamiu’s disappearance, he has denied the allegations. The matter is currently before the court.
The Badagry community is now anxiously awaiting answers as yet another family pleads for the safe return of their missing loved one.
