A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Badagry, Samuel Mawuyon AJOSE, SMA, has declared that the party is set to secure a sweeping victory across the Badagry division in the 2027 general elections.
Ajose, who spoke in Lagos on Sunday, said APC leaders and supporters were already strengthening the party’s grassroots structure ahead of the elections, with a clear commitment to delivering overwhelming votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr Obafemi Hamzat and other APC candidates.
He said Badagry remained a stronghold of progressive politics, insisting that residents understood the importance of continuity in governance and would continue to support the party based on its development programmes and policies.
“Badagry is a stronghold of progressive politics, and our people understand the importance of continuity in governance.
“We will mobilise massively to ensure that President Tinubu, Dr Hamzat and other APC candidates receive overwhelming support in the 2027 general elections,” Ajose said.
The APC chieftain said the party would take its mobilisation campaign directly to communities, wards and polling units, adding that no part of the division would be left untouched.
He said the party would intensify voter sensitisation and grassroots engagement while encouraging eligible residents to participate actively in the electoral process.
“We will not take any vote for granted. We will continue to engage our people at the grassroots and enlighten them on the achievements and programmes of the APC,” he said.
Ajose also appealed for peaceful political engagement ahead of the elections, warning against activities capable of creating division among residents.
He maintained that political competition should not undermine the peace and unity of Badagry, stressing that politics should ultimately serve the people.
Turning to the youth, Ajose urged young people across the division to become more actively involved in politics and governance, saying their participation would be critical to shaping the future of Nigeria.
He expressed confidence that the APC’s grassroots structure, combined with the commitment of its members, would position the party for another major electoral victory.
“With unity, dedication and effective mobilisation, we are confident that Badagry will deliver massive votes for President Tinubu, Dr Hamzat and every other APC candidate in the 2027 elections.
“The APC has a strong structure and committed members, and we will work tirelessly to ensure that our party records another historic victory,” Ajose said.
