Supporters of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, under the banner of KOH2027, have been appreciated for their strong support and admiration for his leadership qualities and political aspirations ahead of the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.
In a statement jointly issued by the Ajiborisha Descendants, Epe Communities, and All Progressives Congress (APC) Stalwarts in IBILE under the KOH2027 Movement, the groups described Dr. Hamzat as visionary leader whose dedication, humility, transparency, accountability, and fear of God have continued to distinguish him in public service.
The group gave thanks to Almighty God for what they described as Hamzat’s “remarkable milestones and political attainments,” while also appreciating Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, leaders of the APC, Lagos State party stakeholders, and members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) for their trust and confidence in the deputy governor’s leadership capacity.
According to the statement, Dr. Hamzat’s innovative and development-driven approach to governance has made him a source of inspiration and hope for many Lagosians who believe in his vision for the continued growth and transformation of Lagos State.
The supporters further noted that his commitment to service and excellence has earned him admiration across different communities, adding that his political journey reflects integrity, competence, and a passion for societal progress.
They offered prayers for divine guidance and success in his future political aspirations, expressing confidence that he would continue to serve as an instrument of peace, progress, and transformation for Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
"Firstly, we thank and glorify our Almighty God for standing by you for these onerous attainments. We equally, thank our President, Commander-in-Chief (C-in-C), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, all APC National and Lagos State Leaders, and the Governor's Advisory Council (GAC) members for their support, trust and believe in his multi competencies for the governing of our Lagos State," said the statement.
The statement added that, "We jointly present you today to our Supreme Creator to Divinely crown your efforts with all it takes to make you an instrument of peace, progress, and transformation of our Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general."
