In a major boost to education and youth empowerment in Badagry, Hon. Olatunde Oladunjoye Yusuf, popularly known as O’ladun O’loyin, has commenced the free distribution of hundreds of UTME 2026 forms to eligible students across Badagry Constituency II.
The initiative makes O’ladun O’loyin the first political figure to activate an education support programme in Badagry in 2026, underscoring his early commitment to human capital development ahead of the coming academic year.
O’ladun O’loyin, a leading aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat for Badagry Constituency II in 2027 and the incumbent Chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Drivers Association of Lagos State, TODAL, said the intervention is aimed at removing financial barriers that often deny brilliant but indigent students access to tertiary education.
The programme is designed to support families struggling with the rising cost of education while ensuring that determined young people in Badagry are given a fair chance to pursue their academic dreams.
According to the organisers, beneficiaries must be indigenes or residents of Badagry Constituency II, be preparing for the 2026 UTME and possess an O’Level result or be on awaiting result. Applicants are required to present proof of residency or an indigene certificate, alongside their O’Level result or awaiting result slip.
Distribution of the free UTME forms will take place at the O’ladun O’loyin Badagry Constituency II Secretariat located at Checking Point Bus Stop along the Badagry Expressway. The exercise begins on January 19, 2026, and will run daily from 9am to 5pm.
A strong warning has also been issued to the public that the UTME forms are completely free, stressing that no individual or group has been authorised to collect money under any guise for the programme.
Observers in Badagry have described the initiative as a timely and people focused intervention that reflects O’ladun O’loyin’s vision of an educated, empowered and competitive Badagry Constituency II.
The programme is sponsored by Hon. Olatunde Oladunjoye Yusuf, who says education remains the strongest foundation for opportunity, growth and a secured future for the constituency.
