A respected Badagry cleric, Pastor Senami Hungbeji, has openly acknowledged the performance of Hon. Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, saying no fair minded observer can deny the lawmaker’s visible impact across Badagry Federal Constituency.
Reacting to a public comment by Hon. Whingan’s personal media assistant, Mr. Olamilekan Quadri, on his earlier post, where he cautioned Badagry elected officers, Pastor Hungbeji said the record of interventions by the federal lawmaker speaks for itself and deserves to be honestly acknowledged.
“Hon. Sesi Whingan has touched several areas like education, agriculture, infrastructure, capacity development, technology, scholarships, job facilitation, and community based initiatives. These are commendable and deserve recognition. No honest observer would deny that,” the cleric stated.
Pastor Hungbeji noted that the lawmaker’s work cuts across critical sectors that directly affect the lives of ordinary people, stressing that such efforts should not be ignored or downplayed in public discourse. He described Hon. Whingan as a leader with clear capacity whose projects and initiatives are evident on the ground.

The cleric’s acknowledgement came amid ongoing conversations around leadership and governance in Badagry, where he has consistently advocated for accountability and people focused leadership. By highlighting interventions in education, youth development, job facilitation, agriculture, and community based programmes, Pastor Hungbeji reinforced the view that the Badagry lawmaker has made significant contributions since assuming office.
His remarks have since drawn attention across the constituency, with many residents seeing the statement as an important affirmation that, despite differing opinions on leadership style or approach, Hon. Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan’s performance in office cannot be dismissed.
