Badagry West Local Council Development Area of Lagos State has sworn in Princess Sesi Ogungbe as the new Vice Chairman. She was sworn in by the Council Chairman, Mr. Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren, at the council secretariat in Kankon, Badagry.
Her inauguration follows the demise of the former Vice Chairman, Princess Oluremi Nutayi, who passed away barely two months into office after a brief illness. The late Princess was the daughter of the Alapa of Apa Egun Awori Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Oyekan Adekanmi Ilufemiloye Ajose Posi III.
Princess Sesi Ogungbe Yussuf is an APC member from Badagry West. She holds a BSc and a Master’s in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Lagos State University and has over 14 years of experience in the Lagos State Civil Service, serving in several local governments including Amuwo Odofin and Iba LCDA. She has also served as Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), overseeing programs for women and youth in the area.
She was a Badagry West LCDA chairmanship aspirant in the last local government elections.
