The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced cash rewards of ₦20 million and ₦5 million for the local government and ward, respectively, that record the highest number of newly registered voters in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
The announcement was made by the party’s state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, during the APC Stakeholders’ Forum held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos.
Ojelabi said the incentive was designed to motivate members and grassroots mobilizers to intensify efforts in encouraging eligible residents to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
He emphasized that the party had made adequate preparations to ensure a smooth registration process and urged all members to take the exercise seriously by reaching out to communities, friends, and families to participate.
According to him, “The APC in Lagos is leaving nothing to chance. We want to ensure that every eligible citizen registers and collects their PVC. It’s not just about politics; it’s about ensuring our people have a voice in governance.”
Ojelabi reaffirmed the party’s commitment to grassroots engagement and effective voter mobilization ahead of future elections.
