Residents of Badagry Constituency I have begun to witness visible improvements in public primary school infrastructure following the completion of remodeling projects facilitated by the lawmaker representing the constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Solomon Saanu Bonu.
Hon. Bonu, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Tourism, Arts and Culture, announced that five primary schools across Ward A Iworo/Gbankoh have now been remodeled as part of ongoing efforts to improve learning conditions for pupils in the area.
The upgraded schools include Anglican Primary School, Gbankoh; Anglican Primary School, Iworo; Anglican Primary School, Ilado/Imeke; Muslim Mission Community Primary School, Ebute Olofin Ajido; as well as the perimeter fencing of Anglican Primary School, Imeke.
According to the lawmaker, the projects were made possible through strategic lobbying and collaboration with the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, whom he praised for his sustained commitment to delivering world-class education across Lagos State.
In a statement shared with constituents, Bonu noted that the intervention aligns with the governor’s broader education agenda and reflects a shared vision to provide a safer and more conducive learning environment for children in Badagry.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu for approving and supporting the projects, assuring residents that more developmental initiatives are being pursued.
“We will continue to lobby for more projects that will better the future of our students and improve the lives of our children,” the lawmaker stated.
Community members have welcomed the development, describing the remodeled classrooms and improved school facilities as a significant boost to public education in Ward A Iworo/Gbankoh.
The projects add to the growing list of constituency interventions aimed at strengthening grassroots development and ensuring that public schools in Badagry are not left behind in the state’s education reform efforts.
