Kumayon Appoints Fagbamila as SLG, 15 Supervisors, SAs, Forwards List to Councillors for Screening

The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Ajose Peter Kumayon, has appointed Hon. Fagbamila Oluwadamilare Adewale as Secretary to the Local Government and nominated 15 others as Supervisors and Special Advisers, forwarding the comprehensive list to the council’s legislative arm for screening and confirmation.

The nominations were formally transmitted to the House of Councillors through its leadership under Hon. Dauda, in what marks a decisive move to constitute the new executive team that will steer the affairs of Olorunda Local Council Development Area.

At the top of the list is Hon. Fagbamila Oluwadamilare Adewale, who has been named Secretary to the Local Government. The other nominees, whose specific portfolios will be assigned upon confirmation, are:

The Chairman expressed strong confidence in the competence, loyalty and experience of the nominees, describing them as individuals carefully selected to align with his administration’s vision for effective governance and accelerated grassroots development.

He urged the councillors to give the nominees a fair and timely screening in the interest of stability and progress within the council, noting that the prompt constitution of the executive arm is crucial to delivering on campaign promises and deepening service delivery across communities in Olorunda.

Political observers say the move signals the beginning of a structured and coordinated governance approach under Kumayon’s leadership, as residents await the outcome of the legislative screening process.
