The Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has praised President Bola Tinubu for what it described as his remarkable commitment to inclusive governance since assuming office in May 2023.
In a statement released on Tuesday, APC spokesman Seye Oladejo said Tinubu’s leadership is setting “new standards” by uniting the nation and ensuring that every Nigerian feels represented.
“President Bola Tinubu is building a Nigeria where every citizen, regardless of tribe, tongue, or faith, feels seen, heard, and valued,” Oladejo noted.
He argued that at a time when many democracies are grappling with deep divisions, Tinubu’s government has become an example of how unity can be achieved— not just through slogans, but through shared opportunities, merit-based appointments, and inclusive national planning.
Oladejo dismissed criticisms from what he called “disillusioned opposition voices,” insisting that the administration’s inclusivity is evident in appointments, gender balance, youth participation, and infrastructure spread across the regions.
“Two years into his administration, it is evident that President Tinubu has gone beyond ethnic, religious, regional, gender, and partisan boundaries to offer Nigeria a leadership style rooted in fairness, representation, and meritocracy,” he said.
The APC spokesman also highlighted the President’s cabinet composition, stressing that women and individuals from minority and historically marginalised groups now play central roles in shaping national policy.
According to Oladejo, Tinubu’s approach reflects a deliberate effort to build a government that mirrors the true diversity of the Nigerian federation.
