The Badagry Federation APC Campaign Council has highlighted growing support for Princess Damilola Sonayon James ahead of the 2027 elections, saying her political appeal is extending beyond traditional party lines to include non-partisan individuals, professionals, technocrats, swing voters and community stakeholders.
In a statement issued by its Media and Publicity Directorate, the campaign council said some of the individuals identifying with DSJ's ambition are not necessarily motivated by party loyalty but by their perception of her personality, antecedents, leadership qualities and commitment to Badagry's development.
The council described the development as a demonstration of the growing importance of candidate quality in political choices, noting that the future of Badagry should be shaped by individuals with the capacity, character and commitment to deliver.
It also acknowledged the support of undecided voters, professionals and community leaders who, according to the statement, are looking beyond political affiliations in considering their political choices.
The campaign council reaffirmed its commitment to building an inclusive political movement around competence and the collective aspiration for a greater Badagry.
