Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has named the Ajara Housing Estate in Badagry as Akinsanya Sunny Ajose Housing Estate in memory of the late Lagos State Head of Service and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Akinsanya Sunny Ajose.
The naming was announced today during the commissioning of the 420 housing units at Ajara, Badagry.
The gesture, according to the governor, is a tribute to Ajose’s years of dedicated and meritorious service to Lagos State.
The newly named Akinsanya Sunny Ajose Housing Estate features 420 housing units spread across 35 blocks, offering a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom flats. It is designed to provide decent and affordable accommodation for low and medium-income earners in the state.
The project underscores Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to expanding Lagos’ housing stock and reducing the housing deficit, while also recognizing outstanding individuals who contributed significantly to the state’s development.
