West Ham United have parted ways with manager Graham Potter after a poor start to the new season. The decision came on Saturday, just hours after their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, which left the Hammers sitting 19th in the Premier League table with only three points from five games.
In a statement, the club said: “Results and performances from the latter part of last season through to the early stages of this campaign have fallen short of expectations. The Board believes a change in leadership is necessary to quickly turn around our position in the Premier League.”
