Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the recruitment of new teachers into Lagos public primary schools, with the application portal now officially open.
The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), in a statement signed by its Executive Chairman on Monday, said the exercise is aimed at strengthening the delivery of quality education across the state.
According to the board, the opportunity is open to qualified applicants with NCE, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND + PGDE, BA + PGDE, and B.Sc + PGDE qualifications.
“All applications must be submitted online through the official portal — https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng. Physical submission of documents will not be entertained, and the process is completely free. LASUBEB has not authorised anyone to collect money on its behalf,” the statement stressed.
Applicants are required to upload key documents including O’Level certificates (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB), Degree or NCE certificates, and NYSC discharge or exemption certificates, where applicable. It also noted that statements of results older than two years will not be accepted.
The application portal will remain open until October 14, 2025.
