The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon (APK), has been honoured with an Award of Honour and Appreciation by the Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries (CPS).
The recognition came during the group’s valedictory programme held on Friday, August 29, at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Topo, Badagry.
The award, presented by Hon. Seyi Odufowokan on behalf of the Conference Chairman, celebrated APK’s consistent support for grassroots journalism and his commitment to enhancing media visibility at the local government level.
In his remarks, Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon expressed gratitude for the honour, noting that the recognition would further inspire him to strengthen partnerships with the media. He pledged continuous support for community journalists and reaffirmed his commitment to deepening public engagement through effective communication.
