Badagry is about to feel the heat of London vibes this December as its very own sensational music export, Babalola Kareem Yemayinse, popularly known as Scope-Dee-Entertainer, returns home with big plans for the second edition of his flagship show, Badagry to the World Concert.
Fresh off his London tour, Scope-Dee wasted no time reconnecting with the heartbeat of his community. The Whlakoh-born star paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Babatunde Hunpe, Chairman of Badagry Local Government, and later met Hon. Bonu Solomon Saanu, Chairman of the Lagos State House Committee on Tourism, who was in the council for a strategic session. His mission? To build strong partnerships and scale this year’s concert into a landmark cultural experience.
Last year’s maiden edition, held at Badagry Grammar School, was nothing short of explosive. With top acts like Qdot and other hip-hop heavyweights lighting up the stage, the show pulled thousands and stamped Scope-Dee’s vision of putting Badagry on the global entertainment map. This year, however, promises even more.
Beyond the big concert night, the 2025 edition will feature a daytime talent hunt, giving young creatives across Badagry a platform to showcase their gifts. Side attractions are also on the bill, from cultural showcases to youth-driven performances, ensuring that the event blends global energy with Badagry’s rich local identity.
With his international exposure, global networks, and strong local support, Scope-Dee-Entertainer is positioning December in Badagry as more than just a music concert — but a festival of vibes, culture, and pure entertainment.
As preparations intensify, all eyes are on Badagry to once again prove that its rhythm, energy, and talent can compete with any city in the world.
