In a move to boost public engagement and improve response to pressing urban challenges, the Lagos State Taskforce has launched round-the-clock public complaint hotlines, giving residents direct access to the agency’s top management for urgent interventions.
The initiative, announced by the Taskforce’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, is in line with the Agency’s statutory responsibilities under Chapter E6, Section 4, Subsection (1) of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Law and the Transport Sector Reform Laws of 2018. These laws empower the Taskforce to enforce compliance on issues such as poor sanitary conditions, traffic violations, environmental degradation, and other urban-related infractions.
According to the statement, the new 24/7 complaint lines will serve as an extension of the Taskforce’s “See Something, Say Something” whistle-blowing and feedback mechanism, ensuring that residents’ concerns are not only heard but also addressed swiftly.
“With these hotlines, Lagosians can now report cases ranging from security threats and traffic offences to street blockages and environmental hazards directly to the agency’s management for immediate action,” the statement read.
The public is encouraged to make use of the following numbers:

“The Lagos State Taskforce remains dedicated to creating a safer, cleaner, and more organized Lagos, and we urge members of the public to take full advantage of this platform,” Abdulraheem said.
