As the race for the chairmanship of Badagry Local Government gathers momentum, a concerned citizen, Comrade Fagboyinbo Moses I, has urged voters to rally behind Hon. Hassan Mihode Hammed (HMH), describing him as the right man to deliver true change and progress. He also warned against returning “the same old faces” who, according to him, have repeatedly failed the people.
In a message to residents of the local government, Comrade Moses passionately called for a shift in the political status quo, emphasizing the need for fresh leadership with a clear vision for development — especially in areas affecting youth and community empowerment.
“We are tired of the same old faces,” he declared, reflecting a growing frustration among the electorate. “For too long, familiar politicians have held onto power, offering empty promises and little progress. Badagry deserves better.”
He called on voters to reject the cycle of disappointment and embrace leaders with genuine commitment to the people’s welfare. “Our Local Government must not be treated as a consolation prize in political chess games,” he said. “We need a leader who sees Badagry as home — not a stepping stone.”
Highlighting the qualities of Hon. Hassan Mihode Hammed, Comrade Moses described him as a visionary leader with the drive, energy, and integrity to bring about the change residents are yearning for.
He noted that HMH’s plans are rooted in youth development, transparency in governance, and innovative community solutions that will uplift every ward in the council.
“Let’s not miss this opportunity,” Moses urged. “It’s time to break free from recycled leadership and give someone new a chance to serve with sincerity and purpose. Let’s vote wisely and build a brighter, better Badagry together.”
As the elections approach, voices like his reflect a growing demand from the grassroots for accountability, new thinking, and inclusive leadership in Badagry Local Government.
