The convocation celebrated the academic accomplishments of graduates from Courses 29 and 30 of the college, the postgraduate training arm of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). Mr. Ashade's outstanding performance during the 2022/2023 academic session earned him the top honor, cementing his place as one of the institution's most exceptional graduates.
The two-day event began with a lecture on Friday, January 24, 2025, titled *"The Impact of Government Policies on Economic Development in Nigeria: Challenges and Sustainability."* The lecture underscored the importance of effective governance and policy implementation in driving national economic growth.
Dignitaries, faculty members, and guests attended the ceremony, which also featured the presentation of certificates and awards by ANAN's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kayode O. Fasua, FNCA, and the Director-General of NCA, Dr. Friday A. Akpan, FNCA.
Beyond his academic achievements, Mr. Ashade is widely recognized for his leadership and community-oriented initiatives. As the founder of the Green Janitors Sustainable Initiative, an environmental organization based in Badagry, he has demonstrated a commitment to promoting sustainability and community development. His aspiration to serve as Chairman of Olorunda LCDA reflects his dedication to driving progress and impactful governance in the region.
