Alajobi Foundation, Kumayon Fans Club Donate 400 School Bags, Water Bottles to Pupils in Olorunda

The Alajobi Community Development Foundation, in partnership with Kumayon Fans Club, has distributed 400 school bags and 400 water bottles to pupils across eight primary schools in Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State.

The outreach, held on Thursday at L.A. Primary School, Ibereko, Badagry, was tagged “Welcome Back to School” and also marked the first anniversary of the Alajobi Foundation.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon, commended both organizations for their commitment to grassroots educational development. He noted that every child in Olorunda deserves access to quality education from primary through tertiary level and pledged that his administration would continue to prioritize education.

“Beyond our recent distribution of free GCE forms to indigent students, we will keep supporting initiatives that uplift and develop education in Olorunda,” Kumayon assured.

President of the Alajobi Foundation, Mr. Alajobi Ahmed, said the program was designed to support education in the council and to complement the Chairman’s early strides since assuming office. He described the partnership as a reflection of community-driven development, pledging that the foundation would continue to do more for the people of Olorunda.

Similarly, President of Kumayon Fans Club, Mr. Kudoro Abdulhakeem, explained that the initiative was aimed at encouraging children to embrace education while complementing government’s efforts at the grassroots.

The organizers also appreciated the support of Olorunda LCDA, WAMUFAT International, and dedicated volunteers who contributed to the success of the program.
