As his tenure draws to a close, the Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Onilude Olusegun Adeniran, is preparing to bow out on a high note with the commissioning of two landmark projects that promise lasting impact for the community.
On Thursday, July 3, 2025, Hon. Onilude will officially commission the newly remodelled Badagry Town Hall—a historic structure now transformed into a modern civic center. The revamped facility features a guest chalet, two state-of-the-art conference rooms, and a spacious multipurpose hall designed to host official functions, community engagements, and public events.
Described by many as a legacy project, the Town Hall’s upgrade reflects the Chairman’s commitment to creating inclusive and functional public spaces for the people of Badagry.
On the same day, Hon. Onilude will also commission the newly completed Badagry Local Government Staff Quarters located in Ajara. The facility will provide decent and accessible accommodation for council staff, enhancing staff welfare and promoting efficiency in service delivery.
The double commissioning is expected to serve as both a celebration of achievements and a symbolic handover of impactful governance. Residents, stakeholders, and dignitaries are expected to grace the events, turning the day into a fitting sendforth for a chairman many regard as visionary.
With these projects, Hon. Onilude leaves behind not just buildings, but enduring symbols of service and leadership.
