Mr Bamidele Segun Hundeyin, son of late Badagry political heavyweight Chief Bolaji Senu Hundeyin, has secured a strategic appointment in the Lagos State APC Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Bamidele has been named a member of the council’s Communication and Information Directorate, specifically the Media, Publicity and Branding Unit, where he is expected to help shape the party’s campaign messaging and public engagement.

His appointment draws on years of political involvement spanning the Action Congress, Action Congress of Nigeria and the ruling All Progressives Congress.

An alumnus of Lagos State University, Ojo, where he studied History and International Relations, Bamidele is also the Deputy Coordinator of the Tinubu Solidarity Movement in the Badagry Federation.

He follows in the political footsteps of his late father, Chief Bolaji Senu Hundeyin, a prominent figure in Lagos politics who served as Commissioner for Works and Transport and later Commissioner for Lands under former Governor Lateef Jakande.

With the 2027 elections approaching, Bamidele’s appointment offers Badagry another voice within the Lagos APC campaign’s media and publicity structure.
