Hon. Engr. Setonji David, Deputy Chief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly and member representing Badagry Constituency II, has congratulated Hon. Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi on his re-election as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Mr. Posu Davies, the lawmaker described Ojelabi’s renewed mandate as a clear reflection of the confidence party faithful repose in his leadership and his unwavering commitment to the growth and stability of the APC in the state.
Setonji noted that Ojelabi’s tenure has been marked by purposeful leadership, strategic coordination and a strong dedication to the progressive ideals upon which the party was founded. According to him, under Ojelabi’s guidance, the APC in Lagos has continued to demonstrate unity, discipline and electoral strength, further consolidating its position as a model of political organization in the country.
The Deputy Chief Whip expressed optimism that the chairman’s wealth of experience, administrative competence and inclusive leadership style would further strengthen party structures across all levels. He said the re-election presents an opportunity to deepen internal cohesion, broaden stakeholder engagement and sustain the momentum of progress within the party.
While praying for a more impactful tenure, Setonji wished Ojelabi greater accomplishments and enduring success as he leads the Lagos APC into another phase of consolidation and growth.
