Badagry Today, in an earlier report, stated that the Councillor representing Kinkiba Ward in Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Hon. Sunusi Hashim, appointed 18 special advisers. The local government lawmaker has also officially assigned portfolios to the 18 special advisers he recently appointed to strengthen his grassroots administration.

The advisers were sworn in during a colourful ceremony held at L.E.A. Primary School, Kinkiba, on Sunday, September 7, 2025. The event attracted APC stakeholders, party loyalists, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and residents of the community, who gathered to witness what was described as a “new chapter” in the ward’s development.

The newly appointed advisers and their portfolios are as follows:

1. Shafiu Nuhu – Special Adviser on Works

2. Shafiu Alhassan – Special Adviser on Social Development

3. Shitu Ahmad – Special Adviser/Principal Private Secretary

4. Alh. Isiya Yusuf Danju – Special Adviser on Finance

5. Danlarai Habibu – Special Adviser on Stakeholders Engagement

6. Ibrahim Sufiyan – Special Adviser on Inter-Party Relations

7. Abbas Jafar – Special Adviser on Public Complaints

8. Jibrin Lawal – Special Adviser on Agricultural Development

9. Aina’u Kabir – Special Adviser on Women Affairs

10. Sale Abdurrahman – Special Adviser on Public Affairs

11. Umar Shitu – Special Adviser on Political Matters

12. Tasiu Umar – Special Adviser on Media and Publicity

13. Salisu D. Tela – Special Adviser on Health

14. Yusuf Abdulkareem – Special Adviser on Elders’ Affairs

15. Buhari Abubakar – Special Adviser on Education

16. Hamisu Salisu – Team Secretary

17. Dahiru Yau – Team Public Relations Officer (PRO)

18. Yahaya Kinkiba – Special Adviser on Youth Affairs

Hon. Hashim reaffirmed that the team would work in line with the governor’s transformative agenda while also initiating community-driven projects to improve the lives of the people of Kinkiba Ward.
