INEC CVR: Ajose Flags Off Door-to-Door Sensitization in Badagry, Vows Massive Block Vote for Tinubu in 2027

The Samuel Mawuyon Ajose (SMA) Foundation has announced plans to commence a massive door-to-door sensitization campaign across the three councils of Badagry — Badagry Local Government, Olorunda LCDA, and Badagry West LCDA — beginning Tuesday, July 26, 2025.

According to the foundation, the sensitization exercise is targeted at youths who just attained the voting age of 18, residents who wish to transfer their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to Badagry, as well as others seeking corrections on their PVCs during the new window of Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Speaking on the initiative, Lagos governorship hopeful and businessman, Mr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, emphasized that the first step to curbing voter apathy is to ensure eligible residents get registered. He stressed that he would be working closely with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Badagry to guarantee massive voter turnout for the party in the 2027 general elections, particularly for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ajose, who recently transferred his PVC to Badagry, described the move as a demonstration of his loyalty to the APC and President Tinubu, while also reaffirming his long-term commitment to Lagos State politics beyond 2027.

“If I am calling on our people to register and vote, then I must also be the first to show that my vote, like my heart, belongs here in Lagos State,” Ajose told residents of the Badagry Federation. “This is about strengthening Lagos State, with Badagry playing its rightful role in the bigger picture to deliver massive votes for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the APC in 2027.”

The business tycoon urged residents to troop out in large numbers to register, noting that INEC’s record of turnout figures from Badagry would play a critical role in shaping Lagos’ political strength in the coming elections.

In his reaction, the APC Chairman in Badagry Local Government, Hon. Gafar Meyon, commended Ajose for his steadfast commitment to the party and for providing essential equipment that has supported the registration exercise across Lagos State.

“The turnout has been massive. Let me thank you for providing us with what we needed to make this work. By God’s grace, come 2027, it will be Badagry’s turn to produce a governor, and it shall be no other person than you, my brother, Mr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose,” Meyon declared.

The SMA Foundation’s sensitization campaign is expected to reach thousands of households across the Badagry division, setting the tone for what party stakeholders describe as a decisive political build-up to the 2027 elections.
