The Cherubim and Seraphim Society Worldwide is gearing up for a landmark celebration as it marks 100 years since the divine revelation that birthed the church's spiritual journey. In a historic move, the church has chosen Saint Christiana Abiodun City, Age-Mowo, Badagry as the central venue for its centenary celebration, drawing believers from across Nigeria and the world.
The week-long event, themed “One Church, One Fold, One Spirit,” will run from Saturday, June 14 to Wednesday, June 18, 2025, and promises a rich blend of worship, cultural expression, and community outreach — all in honor of the vision given to the church’s revered matriarch, Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel, a century ago.
Organizers say the centenary is more than just a milestone; it’s a call to revive faith, foster unity among the faithful, and reaffirm the global mission of the Cherubim and Seraphim fold.
Festivities will kick off on Monday, June 9, with a symbolic “Great Centenary Walk” across major cities in Lagos and internationally. This will be followed by an International Press Conference on Wednesday, June 11 at the church’s General Headquarters in Lafiaji, Obalende, Lagos.
The main celebration in Badagry will feature a variety of activities, including:

In keeping with the church’s commitment to community service, the centenary will also feature free medical services, including health checks, eye care, and the distribution of eyeglasses — ensuring that the blessings extend beyond the church walls.
The centenary is being described by many as a global spiritual awakening, with invitations extended to all Christians, regardless of denomination, to join in what promises to be a momentous celebration of faith, heritage, and divine calling.
As the countdown begins, all eyes are on Badagry — a city steeped in history — as it prepares to welcome pilgrims and dignitaries from around the world for this once-in-a-century spiritual gathering.
