Unknown Man Gasps to Death in Own Packed Car on the Expressway

A tragic scene unfolded on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday, June 10, when a man was discovered struggling for breath inside his parked vehicle and sadly passed away before help could arrive.

According to a Facebook post by political figure and social media influencer, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, members of the transport union at New Garage noticed the man in distress inside his car—a Cherry vehicle with registration number LND 483 FV—parked near the NGAB Filling Station.

The man, later identified as Adebowale Segun Adelere, appeared to be gasping for air when passersby spotted him. Despite efforts to seek assistance, he died before medical help could be rendered.

His remains have since been taken to the Divine Hospital Mortuary, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of death.

In a heartfelt plea, Mr. Igbokwe urged members of the public to share the information widely in hopes of locating the deceased’s relatives.
