The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon (APK), has officially inaugurated the Olorunda Enumeration Team, reaffirming his commitment to evidence-based governance and the fulfillment of his campaign promises.
The data-driven initiative, launched in partnership with SAMOOR-GOMOOR Ltd, is aimed at generating reliable, community-specific statistics that will serve as the backbone for sustainable development across the council. The exercise is expected to guide equitable resource distribution, enhance infrastructural renewal, and strengthen strategic planning in all five wards of Olorunda LCDA.
Speaking at the inauguration, Hon. Kumayon stressed that the exercise goes far beyond revenue generation. He described it as a bold and forward-looking step towards “planning with precision, delivering impact, and upholding the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and people-centered service.”
The Enumeration Team will commence work immediately, with the chairman expressing confidence that the outcomes will position Olorunda LCDA for improved governance, responsive service delivery, and long-term growth.
