Badagry Radio has announced an exciting lineup of events to mark its 6th Anniversary, with two flagship programmes — the Badagry Community Service Awards 2025 (BCSA’25) and the inaugural Badagry Radio Growth Conference 1.0 — set to spotlight the town’s cultural pride, community spirit, and future potential.
This year’s celebration, themed “The Spirit of Badagry; The Pride of Africa”, is billed as both a tribute and a rallying call — celebrating the resilience and rich heritage of the ancient town while inspiring collective action for progress.
In a statement on Monday, the station revealed that nominations for the prestigious BCSA’25 will open on August 15, 2025, giving residents and stakeholders the opportunity to honour individuals, organizations, and community leaders whose exceptional service has transformed lives and inspired development in Badagry.
The maiden Badagry Radio Growth Conference 1.0 will also debut as part of the anniversary activities, bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across sectors to discuss strategies that will shape Badagry’s economic, social, and cultural advancement in the years ahead.
Organizers have promised a vibrant and inclusive celebration, urging residents to participate actively, follow updates, and contribute to what they describe as “a true festival of Badagry’s pride and progress.”
Badagry Radio, which has grown into one of the community’s strongest voices over the past six years, says the anniversary is not just about looking back at achievements but also charting a bold course for the future.
