Baba Adinni of Iragon Congratulates Badagry Council Chairmen-Elect, Urges Focus on Development

The Baba Adinni of Iragon Central Mosque, Chief Tajudeen Tijani, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected chairmen of the three councils in Badagry — Hon. Babatunde Athande Hunpe (Badagry Local Government), Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon (Olorunda LCDA), and Hon. Rauf Kayode Yemaren (Badagry West LCDA).

In a statement made available to Badagry Today, Chief Tajudeen, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Tajud Resources Global, described the trio as “the best among others” who contested in the just-concluded local government elections held last Saturday.

He applauded their victory and called on them to rise above politics and put the development of their communities first.

“I do not ask you not to be loyal to your party,” he said, “but please ensure you prioritize the development of Badagry, Olorunda, and Badagry West. Doing so will make your name written in indelible golden ink.”

Chief Tajudeen noted that the people of Badagry are grappling with several pressing challenges, especially in the areas of education, healthcare, environment, and infrastructure. He charged the incoming chairmen to focus their tenure on addressing these issues.

“In the next four years, Badagry wants to see significant development,” he added. “Look inward, listen to the people, and tackle the perennial problems facing the communities. The future will remember you for it.”

His message comes as residents across Badagry express high hopes for transformative leadership following the outcome of the elections.
