The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that the crescent moon marking the beginning of the Islamic month of Shawwal has been sighted.  

As a result, Eid al-Fitr will be observed on Sunday, March 30, 2025, signifying the end of Ramadan. The announcement was made through Haramain’s official Facebook page, a trusted platform for the global Muslim community.  

“The crescent moon for the month of Shawwal 1446 was sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Eid Al Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025,” the statement read.
