Lagos LG Election: Full List of APC Chairmanship Primary Winners Declared in Alphabetical Order

Winners have emerged in the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship primaries across Lagos State, with candidates selected for all 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

The primaries, held under tight security at the APC state secretariat in ACME, Ikeja, drew a massive turnout and were closely monitored by law enforcement agencies. The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Moshood Jimoh, was on ground to oversee the security situation, alongside operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Department of State Services (DSS).

Officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) also ensured traffic flow in the area, although vehicle movement was restricted around ACME Road, causing gridlock and prompting many to seek alternate routes.

Despite the challenges, over 1,500 accredited delegates from various council areas successfully participated in the election. The APC leadership later commended the peaceful conduct of the primaries and encouraged party members to remain united as the campaign for the main elections begins.
