The endorsement was made public in a joint statement signed in Abuja on Tuesday by Senator Kamarudeen Lere Oyewumi, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla, and Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi. The Senators said their decision followed a strategic meeting held on Monday, where they unanimously agreed to support President Tinubu’s bid for a second term.
According to the Senators, their endorsement is rooted in the President’s ongoing efforts to rebuild the nation through bold infrastructure projects and effective economic reforms. They highlighted a noticeable drop in food prices and significant gains in national security as early signs that the President’s policies are beginning to pay off.
“We are proud to represent a constituency that recognizes and supports the visionary leadership of President Bola Tinubu,” the statement read. “Our endorsement is a reflection of the growing confidence in his administration’s ability to deliver a better future for all Nigerians.”
The move is expected to stir political debate as it signals a rare show of bipartisan support for the President ahead of the 2027 race.
