Fresh details have emerged on how much money the 20 Local Governments in Lagos State received from the Federal Government for the month of November.
According to Lagos Reporters, this latest allocation comes barely weeks after the October disbursement, where councils received huge federal inflows running into billions. Then, the spotlight fell on councils like Alimosho, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Ikorodu, Eti-Osa and Kosofe, which topped the chart with allocations well above ₦2 billion. Many Lagosians expected these funds to translate into better roads, improved sanitation, upgraded health facilities, market renewal, stronger security and other grassroots developments.
Now, with the November figures out, the calls for accountability have only grown louder. People want to know: Are council chairmen using these funds to truly serve their communities, or are they falling short of expectations?
Below is the full breakdown of what each of the 20 Local Governments received this November According to Lagos Reporters:

As residents continue to monitor developments closely, one thing is clear, with allocations of this magnitude, Lagosians expect to see visible improvements across the 20 Local Governments.
