Our Economy Will CollapseWithout President Tinubu in 2027 -  Tompolo

The High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, (alias Tompolo) has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election in 2027, citing the president’s remarkable achievements in nation-building and economic reforms.

Tompolo made this known in a goodwill message at the World Press Conference of the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement held at NAF Conference Centre, Abuja on Thursday 

Tompolo whose goodwill message was read by his associate, Mr Edgar Daniel Biu highlighted the President’s notable achievements, including:

– Economic reforms that saved the national economy from collapse and guaranteed ease of doing business. 

– Prevailing peace and stability in the Niger Delta and unprecedented developmental activities across the country.

– Significant successes in fighting crude oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and sea piracy.

Tompolo expressed confidence that President Tinubu would do more for the country if re-elected, citing his visionary and transformational leadership.


The movement aims to mobilize nationwide support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 without restrictions.

“We are all witnesses to the laudable midterm achievements of his administration in various sectors of our economy and our sociocultural cohesiveness. Together, we will succeed. We cannot afford to fail”, Tompolo said.

The Message As Presented by Mr Edgar Daniel Biu who represented Tompolo continues:

WHY PBAT DESERVES RE-ELECTION IN 2027 – TOMPOLO

GOODWILL MESSAGE PRESENTED BY HIGH CHIEF DR. GOVERNMENT OWEIZIDE EKPEMUPOLO ( AKA TOMPOLO) AT THE PRESS BRIEFING CEREMONY OF PBAT DOOR-TO-DOOR MOVEMENT TO MARK THE 26TH DAY CELEBRATIONS, HELD AT THE NAF CONFERENCE CENTRE, ABUJA, ON JUNE 13, 2025.

Protocol:

"1. I feel honoured to deliver a goodwill message on this auspicious occasion of a press briefing ceremony of the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement. I am very grateful for this privilege and opportunity, and I will continue to cherish it in my lifetime."

"2. The PBAT Door-To-Door Movement is a platform designed to mobilise nationwide support for His Excellency and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the strides of nation building and the forthcoming 2027 presidential election."

"3. This Movement promotes the essence of mobilization and consensus-building, which are intrinsic values of democracy. It recognizes that the voices of Nigerians from all strata of the society matter in deciding through the ballot that Mr President should continue with the good works that he is doing."

"4. Therefore, your presence at this event is an affirmation of your belief in the mission of the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement, and the enlistment of your participation to galvanize massive support for Mr President in the civic exercise of election in 2027."

"5. Your presence is also an expression of our collective decision, willingness and readiness to work together in unity for the task of nation building and the electoral success of Mr President, so that he can continue to deliver the dividends of democracy through his Renewed Hope Agenda."

"6. Permit me to assert at this point that, indeed, Mr President deserves a second term. We are all witnesses to the laudable midterm achievements of his administration in various sectors of our economy and our sociocultural cohesiveness."

"7. We are all witnesses to the tangible gains of his economic reforms that not only saved our national economy from imminent collapse and stagnation, but also guaranteed the ease of doing business and engendered shared prosperity for all citizens."

"8. We are also witnesses to the prevailing peace and stability in the Niger Delta and the unprecedented developmental activities going on in the region and the other geopolitical zones of the country respectively"

"9. Furthermore, we are all aware of the significant successes recorded in the fight against crude oil theft, pipeline vandalism, sea piracy and other forms of violent activities in the Niger Delta that had disrupted oil production and adversely affected socio-economic growth and infrastructure development."

"10. Like many other Nigerians, I am convinced that Mr. President would do much more for our country if he is returned for another term. He has shown that he is a visionary and transformational leader who is committed to bequeathing enduring legacies for the country. We can only support him to achieve his vision."

"11. I want to encourage this Movement to be committed to its noble objectives and work hard to achieve them. Together, we will succeed. We can not afford to fail."
