As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to celebrate Workers’ Day, one of Badagry’s leading chairmanship contenders, Hassan Mihode Hammed (popularly known as HMH), has restated his deep commitment to the hardworking people of the local government area, describing them as the backbone of progress and development.

In a statement released on Wednesday, HMH saluted the resilience, dedication, and daily sacrifices of workers across Badagry. He emphasized that his ambition to lead the local government is driven by a desire to build a more inclusive and prosperous future—one where workers are empowered and their contributions recognized.

“This Workers’ Day is a powerful reminder of the strength and determination of our people,” HMH said. “My campaign is inspired by that spirit.
