In a statement released on Wednesday, HMH saluted the resilience, dedication, and daily sacrifices of workers across Badagry. He emphasized that his ambition to lead the local government is driven by a desire to build a more inclusive and prosperous future—one where workers are empowered and their contributions recognized.
“This Workers’ Day is a powerful reminder of the strength and determination of our people,” HMH said. “My campaign is inspired by that spirit. I believe in a Badagry where economic opportunities are expanded, where youth are empowered with the right tools, and where the welfare of our workforce is not just a slogan, but a central pillar of governance.”
Outlining his development agenda, HMH promised to prioritize infrastructure renewal, enhance access to quality education, and deliver transparent, accountable leadership. He also highlighted the need for strategic investments in youth inclusion, calling it essential to preparing the next generation for leadership and innovation.
“As we honour the workers who keep our communities moving, we must also commit to bold, visionary leadership that understands their dreams and is ready to bring them to life,” he said. “That is the leadership I am offering—one that listens, responds, and delivers.”
Describing himself as a bridge between the aspirations of the people and the policies that can unlock Badagry’s potential, HMH reiterated his belief that governance should be people-centered, inclusive, and development-driven.
“As we celebrate today, let us also recommit ourselves to building a Badagry where every worker is valued, every voice matters, and prosperity is shared by all,” he added.
With local government elections on the horizon in Lagos State, Hassan Mihode Hammed’s Workers’ Day message not only pays tribute to the labor force but also underscores his vision for a thriving, united Badagry—one where no citizen is left behind.
