The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon (popularly known as APK), in a passionate message shared with the people of Olorunda LCDA has once again reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development, inclusive governance, and meaningful service delivery.

Fresh off a decisive victory in the recent APC primary election in Lagos State, Hon. Ajose took to his official Facebook page to renew his call for unity, urging party members and residents to join hands with him in building a “greater Olorunda.” Though this is not his inaugural declaration, it marks a renewed push as the general local government elections approach.

“I am stepping forward to serve — not for titles, but for transformation,” Hon. Ajose declared in his message. “I understand your needs because I walk among you. I listen, I act, and I deliver.”

With a political career that dates back over three decades, including serving as Vice Chairman of Badagry Local Government, and backed by his experience as an ICT expert and retired civil servant, Hon. Ajose brings both institutional knowledge and fresh energy to the race.

At the center of his campaign is a clear and powerful message: “Let’s Make Progress Real.” This vision is encapsulated in his newly launched seven-point development plan known as RESHAPE, a practical roadmap designed to deliver impact where it matters most.

The RESHAPE Agenda

RESHAPE stands for:

  • R-ural development – Bringing infrastructure and economic opportunities to underserved communities.

  • E-ducation advancement – Improving school facilities, teacher welfare, and learning outcomes.

  • S-taff welfare – Enhancing conditions and motivation for council workers and public servants.

  • H-ealthcare improvement – Expanding access to affordable, quality healthcare services.

  • A-gricultural growth – Supporting local farmers and promoting food security.

  • P-hysical environmental sanitation and water supply – Ensuring clean neighborhoods and access to safe water.

  • E-mpowerment – Creating targeted programs for youth and women to thrive economically and socially.

Hon. Ajose’s plan isn’t just a checklist—it’s a reflection of his deep understanding of the challenges facing the community and his readiness to offer lasting solutions.

“Together, we can move Olorunda forward,” he said. “I humbly ask for your support and your vote as we build a better, greater Olorunda — united in vision and action.”

From improved roads and functional schools to better healthcare and economic empowerment, the APK campaign is focused on making government work for everyone. His supporters often echo his slogan: “IRORUN DE. ITESIWAJU OLORUNDA. ISE YA!” — signifying the coming of ease, progress, and a call to action for all.

As the 2025 elections approach, the energy around APK’s campaign continues to grow, resonating with residents eager for a leadership that prioritizes service over showmanship. For many in Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon represents more than a candidate—he represents a promise of progress that is both real and within reach.
