The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem (SAN), as Chairman of its Screening Appeal Committee ahead of the upcoming local government elections.
According to thegazellenews, the five-member committee is tasked with addressing disputes and concerns arising from the recently concluded screening exercise conducted for aspirants seeking to contest under the party’s platform.
Kazeem will lead the appeal body, which also includes former Lagos State House of Assembly member, Honourable Abdul Wahab Olumuyiwa Jimoh, who was named Secretary.
Other members are Honourable Sunmi Odesanya, Esq., a former State Secretary of the APC; Honourable Kayode Oseni, pioneer Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA; and Barrister Olawale Saliu.
The committee is expected to ensure internal party cohesion by resolving grievances and appeals before the polls.
